I love that these kids are not perfect little soldiers and that their propensity for fun and typical childlike behavior shines through.

The microphone picture of Malia is a riot- I know of no typical children of their ages who would happily sit quietly and still during speeches.

I love the sense of fun and love that they seem to share with their parents.

On that note, I think children of ANY politician should be left out of the business of gossip, mud-slinging, etc...

Many c-d posters are guilty of disparaging remarks regarding the Palin children, Chelsea, the Bush twins and really - they SHOULD be off-limits out of common decency here and in the press.
