Imagine, if you will, that Pres. Obama thought Czechoslovakia still existed in three separate speeches, or mixed up Iran and Iraq, or got Sunni and Shia mixed up, if his finance chair called Americans "whiners", or he forgot how many homes he owned, etc., etc...?

He would have been crucified by the mainstream media, as well as the McCain campaign. He would have been raked over the coals mercilessly.

He had to run an almost mistake free campaign, and he did. Thats why he's President, cause he's Presidential.

Listen to the video for more examples.

I doubt it. the media LOVED obama. Obama had more money than he could use. If he HAD made any mistakes, they would have been covered up or ignored.
Hopefully, he will do a good job, and not break too many of his promises.
Too bad his administration appears to be a remake of the Clinton years.
So far, I am not too impressed. I am willing to wait and see. We don't have much choice now, do we?

You mean like when President Obama claimed to have visited 57 states?

Oddly enough, if you were to have searched the NY Times you would have gotten a message saying your search had returned 0 results. The same was true for the Washington Post. Snopes has the following entry on the matter.
snopes.com: Barack Obama and 57 States

Actually, just as everyone else in the world, President Obama has made, and will make many gaffes. I just don't think you'll hear of them as often. Here's a fun site.

Exactly, The Great Charlatan said there were 57 states and the media burried it, while Sarah Palin never once said "I can see Russia from my house" but that was reported worldwide (and I'm no Palin fan).

Tina Fey said the above, while playing Sarah. Sarah said something like "you can see Russia from Alaska".

Barack Obama wished everyone a happy kwanzaa.

Kwanzaa is a made up holiday.
It was made up by a black dude who hated white people, saying that Black people should have their own holiday to step out of the shadows of the "white holiday"

Sorry, Mr President, but you shouldnt be wishing people a happy "kwanzaa" when it's a holiday made by a black person out of their hate towards white people.

The media hasn't said a word about it.

I wonder what would have happened if a White President sent out a message wishing a Happy _______!, where the holiday was made in lieu of hating black people.

Sorry Mr President, either dont issue a statement, or just wish a happy holiday season or just happy holidays.
