FOR THE RECORD:
I voted for McCain, and during the campaign, I posted some harsh criticism of Obama. He is now the president elect, and I support him 100%. That is my duty as an American, to support the president and give him my both support and my RESPECT. I hope you folks note this and not count me in that crowd of problematic posters.
I want to make this point clear...

There is no need for sarcasm. I was merely asking your opinion on why you felt people could not say what they felt about Bush, when even Bush said he did not have a problem with free speech. Your response was sadly, sophomoric. I thought an intelligent discourse would have evolved.
And you don't know "Berkley" (sic).. trust me. The Berk Eley and Columbia of today bear no resemblance to what they were like in the 60s. Would you say the same if I went to Kent State.. probably not, because it's not cliche to bundle Kent State with alleged liberal elitist schools.

I have seen where you posted this on another thread and I remember thinking.. what an honorable thing to say. But I never responded to you, until now. FYI I voted for Bush in 2000 and I had high hopes. But alas..

I did not say that you could not say what you feel about President Bush! I said that the same people who criticize him are the same ones who don't want anyone to say anything about Obama...and I'm sorry you feel my response was so sophomoric...I will try to make a more intelligent comment next time.

Oh! My apologies! People can say what they want of Obama once he's in office.. but you must understand there was a plethora of inane threads covering everything from him being a terrorist, born in Kenya, so people may be shell shocked and still bear resentment. But it will pass.
Again, I apologize for misunderstanding you!
