The problem with folks like this is that they are basically ignorant. Africans before colonialism ruled themselves just fine. Pre-colonial Africa had various well governed empires and kingdoms for example. I'am of the view that post colonial Africa is in turmoil because Africa's new leaders didn't modernize their African styles of governing for their new countries. Instead they tried to implement foriegn systems.

An example of Black rule that works.

Botswana also has an impressive record for credibility. It is one of the least corrupt countries in sub-Saharan Africa and rates above Japan and Italy in international assessments of corruption.

This is basically the attitude that has lead Europeans to believe they had the "God Given" right to "colonize" other people's lands and impose the "civilized" system of doing things.
This country unfortunately was colonized on the same principle. The Europeans came here to escape persecution in their native country but found it acceptable to practice the same thing in this country because the indigenous people were "Godless Heathens" who had to be conquered for their own good.
South Africa, Australia, Hawaii, South America, etc...
Fortunately "we" the United States are becoming more civilized and hopefully can lead by example, that if you give the people a "true and real" opportunity at success, many will become successful.

PS. Racist are found all over the world....happily they don't represent their entire country.
Indeed, because as we all know, the political party which traditionally championed slavery certainly couldn't have been the Democrats.

Oh, wait....my bad.

(BTW, I'm neither, but generalizations simply defy intelligent argument.)

Even though Obama will be the next president, his cabinet is still going to be made up of mostly white people, so it's not like the U.S is going be predominantly runned by black people. But it's true that anywhere in the world where the majority of people in power are black, the place tends to be a shythole. Detroit, Gary, Haiti, Darfur, etc. are all examples of this.

That's what a generation of liberal PC indoctrination has done, even to the most honest among us. They try to express themselves but it just comes out mangled...luckily, they recognize each other....etc.

It's sad how Dumbya has made speaking well so uncool

At least for some.....

Hmmm....THought I read somewhere that racism was gone? Guess not

You just trivialized black leaders in those towns as if they're solely responsible while the current white led Congress and White House have run this country into the gutter.....It has nothing to do with race..

To throw in Darfur and Haiti with those American cities shows how ignorant you are. You can't compare the two..Half those rat filled countries in Eastern Europe are lead by whites.

Well, I know someone who won't be invited to the White House anytime soon

I do hope that this will show the fallacy that 'all Europeans think this' and 'Europeans want that'.....they are as individualized as yes, even the undereducated and less sophisticated Americans.
There is bigotry over there, and racism and neo nativism too. So please, while it is interesting and important to be aware of Europe and what is going on in all the many countries that makes that continent, can we please stop fawning for Europes acceptance of us?
