It was really awesome to see President Elect Obama joining President Bush at the White House today...as a Conservative Republican, I also have to say it was awesome to see that a black man will be President...I just wish he were a Conservative! Go ahead liberals...twist this all around and make it into something other than how I meant it!

If there were more conservatives like you that would be refreshing

I'm not going to twist anything. It is refreshing to read your words. At least you can accept the idea!!! I would love to see a conservative black prez. The problem is that the right is moving away from that demographic at warp speed.

I appreciate your sentiment, and I respect your take on the topic.
I don't believe there will be any twisting of your opinion. (but then again there are always people that can be total idiots of course!)

Here's to raising our expectations!

Cheers ~clink~

What do you mean by twist?!

Is this some sort of obscure racist reference to Chubby Checker?

I am OUTRAGED!

</sarcasm>

Thank you for your post.

I'm not a big fan of President Bush (along with 76% of the country apparently), however, I also thought it was neat seeing President Bush with President-elect Obama. I really like the picture of Bush and Obama talking in the oval office that is on the front page of cnn.com right now.
