Whether it was Obama or McCain made no difference to me. I can tell you if you think most military members wanted a McCain Presidency, then you'd be correct. Personally, I think Obama, evern before he is inaugurated, has brought positive change to America, and I am certain he will do what's best for our great country. The truth of the matter is this, and whether you were part of the nonsense or not is irrelevant, but the BS on this forum regarding things like Obama being an Arab or a terrorist are unfounded, and most of the folks I work with never mentioned these kinds of things, they were able to see past the stupidity and make their own decisions. Our military is as diverse as Obama's rallies were and we learn to make decisions and lead, it is my opinion, regardless of party that we are the best and most responsible voters in America.

I say we load up all the military haters send them over there instead and bring our troops home and let them "talk" it out with the terrorists and anyone else that hates our people and see how far they get!

Veterans are FREAKIN' OUT about all their work and sacrifice will go up in smoke, will all go in vain, if Hussein is pressed by lobbyists like MoveOn and George Soros force their puppet, Hussein, to withdraw from Iraq precipitously.

Not only that, they also fear they will be slandered by Hussein and Congress like the Dems did to veterans after the Vietnam War.

I believe the original poster asked for thoughts from current members of the military, not children.

"their work and sacrifice will go up in smoke"

Exactly what the Viet Nam vets said in 1975 when Saigon fell. But the situation here is different. We can still preserve Iraq if we don't quit just prior to a full victory that free the Iraqis from dictatorship and civil war. I'm concerned for the very same reason.

Excuse me, the use of of a specific name , in an inflamatory way, in this post isn't helpful.

The post uses the name "Hussein" as if there is something wrong with the name.
There is nothing wrong with that name.
Many of our allies are named Hussein.
Some American troops are named Hussein.
That name appears on some American military grave markers,
often , but not always , under a star and crescent symbol.

The name is as American as LaChance, Smith , McLeod , Garcia , Muller,
Yamamoto , Kim , or Nguyen.

This should have been a sticky long ago. Thanks for the common sense
