I am all for that government. I don't think the current republican government stands for that anymore.

Neither does he. That's why his candidacy stuck out like a sore thumb during the debates. He's advocating a Taft style Republicanism. Use regulation to reign in companies and corporations while promoting freedom for the citizens.

"all these" meaning the ONE platform that he has promoted since his campaign started?

I dont understand the hostility towards someone who is simply trying to point out where we have lost our way and what we can do to fix it.

For the current GOP: Don't you hate having to admit that you've been wrong to support these fools? It's got to be hard for older Republicans especially. To remember the hope that was Ronald Reagan. And still not being able to admit that Reagan did some pretty nasty stuff and lied about it on national television. You don't admit that sort of wrong.
