There are lots of old terms that are not in use anymore here. But "coloured" is still used.
Mulattoes and Indians in South Africa are called that. And think even Chinese are being called that now too. I think she meant colored as meaning non-white.

I still don't see how "that one" has anything to do with race.
I hear the term people or color, person of color etc.. I don't see the problem except that people still have the need to call people by ethnic group, etc.. I am so tried of hearing African American, Mexican American, Asian American, so on and so on. That is the real rpoblem with our society. We are all Americans, let's just leave it at that.
