The Catholic Campaign for Human Development, which has an annual budget of about $10 million, had planned to grant about $1 million to local groups across the country through ACORN this fiscal year, Morin said. None of that money will be distributed.

This wasn't about teenagers writing in "Mickey Mouse." The Catholic Campaign for HD said it's because several years ago ACORN's founder's brother embezzled a million dollars. Not from them, but he embezzled money. Whether that's the real reason for the Catholics' announcement or not, you do notice that
they waited until
after the election
to make the announcement.

Hmmm, so what kind of message does that send? Sounds to me as if they chose not to add to the ACORN brouhaha and possibly hinder Obama's chance of winning.

Well from what I saw during this election they are NOT unbiased and they should have ALL federal funds stopped. I do NOT want my tax dollars going to this organization.
