She was going to get rid of the fruit fly research which is the one thing that has led to some answers with autism .. I agree with some pork, but she was saying to get rid of that specifically to pay for autism help. All my autism parent groups could have fainted. Just not right. And yes I am hoping more can be done to recall the shots out there with mercury in them and get it out of flue shots as well

There were a few fruit fly pork projects not sure which one she objected too. The point is there is an above the table method for getting fed aid.
Like you I want max support of autism studies and treatments. It is an epidemic and it is getting worse everyday. I would quite literally give my life to make my daughter normal. That said she is and always will be daddy's girl.
Cloud I don't disagree with you on your concerns. I simply disagree that Palin and family are white trash. Wierd? Oh yeah. Opinionated? with out a doubt. But not what I would call trash.

We don't like it when blanket terms are applied to us, so we need to rise above. It's not much different than what Rush listeners do when they hear something on his show. You're taking a phrase from someone who managed to get quoted in the media, and running with it.

Fortunately the white trash in my area is far enough away from me that I can ignore them. I have acres of yard between us.
Call public health or zoning.

I'm not speaking to specific examples.

I call it like I see it too. As I said, I am no angel. My point was regarding the the broad brush treatment. Not all righties are white trash. I actually think that some specific righties on this board could be considered as such - but certainly not all of them.

Also - I have a neighbor whose yard is a complete disaster, and has old junked out Harleys and cars all over the place, as well as two huge dogs that bark constantly. So, I do sympathize with you, and have my own terminology for when I am referring to him.
