That's their largest viewership since 1999...the man sure can draw a crowd. Just wait until the inauguration, it's been speculated there could be as many as 1 million on hand in DC.

People are infatuated with their new president! I'm happy for 60 min. I've watched that show for years.

Salon picks the best moments of the interview with some selected clips. The interview was so refreshing and inspiring after what we've had to put up for the last eight years.

It was a very good interview, one of the best! Great family!

It was not to hear people speaking without using the words “my friends”, “Joe the Plumber”, “Guys and Gals”, and so many others that were overused and became too tiring during many months of this election.

People should be watching his interviews, he is our immediate future.
I didn't vote for him, but he is who we have, so I want to learn everything about him.
We all need to pray he can do something to bail out our butts. Lets see what he can do before we attack him anymore...
Good luck BO....

Newest estimates are 4 million people. I may have to rent out my house and go down to Hilton Head or something.

Anyway, good interview. Said all the right things.

I love how he talks about paying off his student loans...with advances from his books! They truly do have modest beginnings.

What a great, down-to-earth, interview. Is it up anywhere to watch again? I only saw snippets.

We will need each other and the President-elect will need as many of us, as are willing to work...the problems we're facing now...what a mess...

Good post.
