J. Edgar Hoover went to his grave an unrepentent domestic terrorist who had buildings named after him. And he was responsible for REAL terror and REAL deaths of those he hated. So don't ask me to cry tears because a young man made some not so good choices that didn't kill anyone.

How can you possibly compare Ayers to McVeigh?
How can you *not*?

Further:

1. The Nazis are still being rounded up and tried for war crimes (those that are still living). Since there's no statute of limitations on murder in this country then the answer to your question about being rounded up is, yes I do think they should be rounded up if people died as a result of their protesting.

2. So you are saying an 18 year old Hitler Youth kid is not innocent because 6 millions Jews died? I could argue that he was young and impressionable and was following a charismatic leader who offered a way to make life better. So Ayers was young and impressionable and was offering a way (by bombing buildings in protest of a war) to make life better.

that was the plan, yes. he was freed due to prosecutorial misconduct, which you goofily equate with innocence.
'supposed crimes'?
if bombing billy didn't consider himself guilty of committing any crimes, why the hell would he say - immediately after escaping prosecution - 'guilty as hell, free as a bird'...?

Ayers just happened to live in Obama's neighborhood - they weren't actually *friends*..

Hmmmm maybe because this is a DEBATE forum NOT a court of law.

As he said in the Democracy Now interview, the right used him pretty darn effectively to try to undermine Obama's reputation. Ayers just happened to live in Obama's neighborhood - they weren't actually *friends*.. The way the right portrayed it they may as well have been companions in terrorism..

Ugh - it's all over folks.. Let's worry about the next paycheck being there.
So he's a crybaby too.

Perhaps Bill Ayers needs to pull his head out of his arrogant butt, and ask what would happen if everybody in the United States acted like he did, then offered nothing but self justification for it.

No wonder people hate him so much.

And by the way, in an earlier post, I said that this has nothing to do with Obama. Read it for yourself.

You seem to be the only winger who thinks this. Or are all the other wingers - including McCain and Palin - lying?

And I'm still waiting for your answer on this:
