I think she knew exactly what was going on in the background. It's almost like she was giving the American people the finger for what happened to her the past couple of months.

But hey, let's give three cheers for Joe the Turkey Grinder! He's doing the jobs that Americans don't want.

After reviewing the video again I notice how the Turkey Grinder keeps looking in her direction. She might want to increase her security detail as there were many who called her the biggest turkey of the 2008 election campaign. Betch by golly there are ya know some who woulda wanta to havea her as a turkey on their table ya think?

I'm sure she cannot, for the life of her, begin to see the gruesome irony in the juxtaposition of her winking and spewing trivialities while turkeys are graphically and slowly slaughtered in the background.

She's probably thinking, "Damn those questions were hard" or "Did I look adorable enough?" or "Take that Katie Couric!"

Why is this even important?

The election is over and she's a non-entity.

Saw this on MSNBC this morning. They said that the camera man asked her if she'd like to change location because of the background. Her reply, "No, it's fine." Blech.

It's not important. It's funny.

...and, it's fresh! Thank god--everyone was getting sick of rehashing the same old Palin jokes. Sorta like how you feel about leftover turkey a week after Thanksgiving.
