Default Respect the President Elect

I hear nothing but complaining from people who supported the other side and can't move on. As a Democrat, I lost to George W. Bush twice and I still came around to support his as our President even though its become obvious that he was not qualified for the job after the first four years.

Whether you support his views or not, Obama deserves the same respect and support that our previous Presidents have received. You may not agree with the Rahm Emmanuel, Hillary Clinton appointments or whatever else but you have to admit he has hit the ground running. Did you see this kind of action from W. at all during the last eight years? Obama is at least willing to consider non-traditional ways of doing things and isn't filling his cabinet with 'yes men.'

Let's give this a chance... maybe some of you will be surprised and maybe you won't BUT he won in a landslide and deserves the support. Let's face it, he can't do any worse than W.

Obama will get my respect once he earns it. He's lucky I'm going to give him the opportunity to prove himself before I pass judgement.

I'm not a sheep.

I am fed up with the whole federal gov't system and he is just more of the same. He ran on one idea, change, and he is doing nothing more than rehashing old players and plans. Until we get a viable 3rd party, have the majority of citizens willing to take on their responsibilities instead of desiring a nanny-state, and repeal the powers the federal gov't has given themselves the last 80 years...we are out of luck.

Lol...great thread post.

It's very funny listening to all of these folks crying...Common sense says if you need experienced folks they will more than likely have worked in Government for a few years and jeez, What are the ODDS under a prior Democrat President!!

The "change/Administration/whine" is really exposing the critical thinking skills of a lot of folks....

Yes! Good thread and good post...
As I just said on another thread, NO CHANGE? You have got to be kidding.. How could anyone convincingly argue that this new administration won't be an enormous change from what we've had to contend with for the last eight years?
