I like Steele - I'm not really sure what kind of "whining about losing" he is talking about? The Repubs I talk to normally just discuss ways to "fix" the Republican Party...

Former Lt. Governor Michael Steele said "he is sick and tired of Republicans whining about losing."

Steele, who is running for the chairmanship of the Republican National Committee made his comments in a surprise on-air call to WBAL's "Kendel and Bob Show" today.

"If you want respect, earn it. You get the respect by going out to the people and talking to them, so get your act together and get on board," Steele added. Steele called the program during a "rant" segment.

Steele said "he wants to shake things up" in the Republican Party.

Steele called the show co-hosted by his old boss, former Governor Bob Ehrlich and his wife.

Steele has been trying to raise his national profile recently.

He is a regular contributor to the FOX News Channel, and recently was filling in for some of the network's talk show hosts.

Steele ought to stop with the Clarence Thomas imitation ...the GOP doesn't have his best interests at heart, otherwise they wouldn't knowingly appeal to racists. I have no doubt the Republican hierarchy looks at him as someone to be used and nothing else.

The weirdest thing is that I haven't heard ANY Republican whining since the election.

I've heard a LOT of people saying, "Well, Obama wasn't my choice, but he is my President, and I'm going to support him."

It would be nice if the Democrats would have had that same decency these past 8 years.

Default Republican Whining we can count on

Am I the only one, or is anyone else sick of the endless complainers from a group of people whose candidate LOST BIG-TIME 2 weeks ago...

These folks mock the 'Change we can count on" slogan...

Well, how about a 'Republican whining we can count on" slogan...

I mean, they are unloading every complaint they can against Obama - and he doesn't even take office for 2 more months...

Just on the way home today, I heard Monica Crowley, another blindly Republican anti-Obama talk show host, talking about how if Obama doesn't go to Wall Street the first day after his inauguration and give a speech on the economy and inspire the nation to go out and invest and buy, that his presidency is a total fraud...

I think what we should do is post her x-refs to either complaints you read on the interenet, or on this forum, that typify the type who are endlessly complaining about the guy before he even takes the oath - and who will surely complain twice as much after..

This should be a good thread to look back on as Obama succeeds - so we can kick back and laugh at these suckers..

Here's my first: Obama's change: Appoint more Washington insiders than Bush+Clinton COMBINED!

Obviously you haven't read many Republican postings on this forum, or listened to talk radio, or watched Sean Hannity on the boob tube...

Obviously you've got your blinders on......

Try reading all the posts, not just the ones that feed your Sarah Palin fetish.

Please tell us why you expect people to respect the Dems when all you people did for the past 8 years is to diss any Republican, much like you do in here right now, no matter what their views were or are? Many of the liberals are really just sick l;ittle people, very small individuals with a inate amoutn of hate and jealousy and expect people to do and say what they say they should do and say.

In the first place, I have seen very little truth from you at all in this forum. In the second place, I am not Republican and voted third party because both major candidates sucked the big one. I happen to be an Independent and not partisan like you. BHoth parties suck the big one and this country will never get any better, but you will think it will. Since 1913 this country has shred the Constitution into so many pieces that it isn't even funny. That goes for both parties. We have become a socialistic government since FDR and LBJ went way over the top and even both Bushes have been the worse thing that could happen to this country. You tell the truth?????? You can't handle the truth!!!!!
