Racism will still exist long after Obama's been in and out of the White House.

For some people, Obama's election just gives them more resentment against blacks.

One black man achieving success in politics doesn't mean anything. Why would anyone but a complete moron think otherwise?

Oprah becoming the richest entertainer didn't mean that racism was over. Jackie Robinson making it to the big leagues didn't mean racism was over. Why the h*ll would Obama's success mean that racism was over?

Well said and true, my thoughts exactly...except presented a lot better.

Why is the world always nothing but black and white for some...no nuances, no shades of grey?????????

The last sentence definitely sounds like several of the posters here in my opinion.

Blacks should not complain

They've made it to the highest position in the United States Government

They've seem MLK's dream come true

Affirmative Action needs to go away

NAACP needs to go away

and Oh BTW, the biggest racists I have ever met were black...

Every race has people who are racists. Nothing is going to change that.

not sure who will complain but a whole lot of affluent blacks are about to pull out of the harbor on their cruise ship and leave a bunch of poor down and out black folks who are about to get the rug pulled out from under them big time. the shedding of tears are guna dry up soon. in the next 12 months welfare will disappear as we know it.
