Bill Clinton not interested in wife's Senate seat - CNN.com

Former President Bill Clinton has no interest in replacing his wife in the U.S. Senate, according to his spokesman.

Sooooooo.... who do you think will be the new senator? And, where is Bill headed? Will we be calling him Ambassador Clinton?

RFK Jr. was a favorite but he has said he's not interested, same with Nita Lowery. Caroline Kennedy is still a possibility.

What will Bill do with his time...?

I doubt that a special anything is in the cards for quite sometime, both Obama and Hillary need to make there mark before sharing the limelight with the former President, both have big stakes in keeping him out of the news for the foreseeable future.

He'll be an "elder statesman."

Whatever that means. But I've heard that term used for Carter and Bush #1.

It would seem to me that Bill Clinton has had enough of politics... I believe he is more interested in helping his wife win in 2012/2016.
