Why are liberals nervous about President-elect Barack Obama? If you read and listen to them, you’d hear many an anguished whine.
OMG, this is a funny article. Perhaps the libs here can explain it to us conservatives. Then again, maybe not. LMAO!

Dream on, the VAST MAJORITY of Obama supporters are VERY PLEASED with what he is doing. One needs only look at his recent approval ratings to know that.

Oh wait I forgot - polls don't indicate anything do they - I mean after all they were soooooooooo wrong in predicting that Obama was going to win the election.

It doesn't matter to me what the far left extreme of the spectrum thinks. Most of us Obama supporters are far more into towards the middle - in spite of what Right Wing Hate Radio would have you believe.

The fact is, Obama will make good on most of his promises - as least as many as the wreck of an economy Bush leaves him with will allow.

I clicked on the link and I saw Ann Coulter. You need to warn people about that. Something like "WARNING: Extreme Stupidity to Follow"

Well, there's this:

Democrats: Obama needs hands-on economic approach - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081205/ap_on_go_pr_wh/obama_sidelines - broken link)

Quote:
WASHINGTON – Democrats are growing impatient with President-elect Barack Obama's refusal to inject himself in the major economic crises confronting the country. Obama has sidestepped some policy questions by saying there is only one president at a time.

Indeed there is - and certainly MANY people are EXTREMELY ANXIOUS to get Bush out of there as soon as possible and to get Obama in as soon as possible. However, Obama is right - we only have ONE President at a time.

I have to admit though that I found the following Barney Frank quote pretty funny:

"I'm afraid that overstates the number of presidents we have. He's got to remedy that situation."

I would'nt gloat my fellow conservatives. Wer'e not even in the first inning yet, this is still BP.

Even if Obama governs from the center, once all the little lefties start getting into the rule writing & enforcing under deputy assistant secretary to whatever jobs, that's when the fun will really begin. Imagine all those card carrying sierra club & greenpeace members writing regs at EPA & Interior, all the union hacks swarming into the Dept of Labor & OSHA, the race industry hustlers get into the EEOC...

We have a long four years ahead, and it ain't even started yet

And you undoubtedly would prefer 4 more years like the last 8.

Sorry, your side is a MINORITY of voters. You had your 8 miserable years of spectacular failure, now Americans said we want intelligence and thoughtfulness, not ignorance.

Once the whistle blows, dont forget to stay on the sidelines and cry, the adults got a game to play.

Nah, I'll stay engaged. Sitting on the sidelines whitching & bining is what lefties do. Conservatives care what happen to the country even when we are not running it.

And when you are running it, you do so straight into the ground.

The sidelines is where you belong, Americans have come to their senses at long last (some of us were already there) but now we are a majority.
