Leo Donofrio wrote the following on his blog this morning prior to the resolution being posted on the SCOTUS website:
It's just another day for me. If this is over today, I'll be playing poker tonight. I've done my best to get to the truth. If the SCOTUS denies my case I will wish Mr. Obama all the best and hope that he will respect me as a Citizen who was concerned for the Constitution. It's not personal for me and I've tried to remove all insulting language from this blog so that it could be an intelligent discourse.
It would be nice if everybody else could follow his lead.
It would be nice, for you, if everybody believed in GLOBAL WARMING.
Some of us don't belive in man made global warming and a lot of us are going to put up a bit of a fight about that ding dong Barry.
I'm acutally feeling pretty good about the SC. That smarty pants Scalia has a file to review.

That is sad but like all things in life we must choose and you have chosen your path and an increasing majority of Americans are choosing another path.
We will remember you and hope that you will see the light and join us one year in the promised land of America in the 21st century.
"Tomorrow, be sure to have your TVs on pre-noonish:
Leo Donofrio and Cort Wrotnowski are heading down to DC TOMORROW, and WILL be holding a PRESS CONFERENCE on the steps of Sup. Court at 11AM EST"
During the war in VietNam, as a sign of protest, Buddist Monks would douse themselves with gasoline and immolate themselves on the steps of major public buildings. In the instant matter, one can only hope this of Leo and Cort. If I were there, I'd hand them some matches and let them set a fine example for wingnuts everywere.

One of the really cool things about big forces is that they don't actually care if you believe in them or not. Global warming and its attendant climate changes won't disappear because you failed to clap.
Scalia reviewed the file and did the same thing Thomas did - he kept his conservative cred in line when it's his name, but when they deny Wrotnoski's case, too, it will be anonymous. Semi-clever, that.

No that would not be very mature and we are the mature ones needing to be role models for those needing it.

Yup - a good PR cover mechanism for sure...
A lot like the old 'discharge petition' that the House had prior to the Republican takeover in '94. Under that, congressmen could sponsor or co-sponsor legislation, and then when it went into committee - it was a SECRET BALLOT to bring it out of committee.. So, you could sponsor something that appealed to the voters, knowing full well it would never become law because you and many other sponsors would vote to not bring it out of committee for a house vote...

And I have a Vietnam era Zippo which I would gladly donate to the cause.
Court won't review Obama's eligibility to serve -- baltimoresun.com
Brendan Nyhan, a political scientist at Duke University, said the Internet's role in forming public opinion is gaining strength. WorldNetDaily, for instance, has one of the faster-growing audiences on the Internet, up 62 percent in the past year, according to Hitwise.
Nyhan co-wrote a study this year that said journalists' attempts to correct misinformation is unlikely to sway public perceptions because many people want to believe the misperception.
"People often have a strong bias for believing the evidence they want to believe and disbelieving what they don't believe," Nyhan said. "There is less of a sense that we all have a common set of facts we can agree on. There's a polarization, and we can't even agree on the basic factual assumptions to have a debate."

WOW!!! They should really do a case study of some of the die-hards on this forum...
i am not sure why obama supporters are so happy, you do realize this ruling without comment will keep the issue alive right? The outcome you should have been looking for was a definitive statement that he was a natural born citizen, ending the issue and guaranteeing no more cases would be distributed to conference.
is everyone sure that obama really is a "natural born citizen"?
