Liberals are growing increasingly nervous – and some just flat-out angry – that President-elect Barack Obama seems to be stiffing them on Cabinet jobs and policy choices.
Obama has reversed pledges to immediately repeal tax cuts for the wealthy and take on Big Oil. He’s hedged his call for a quick drawdown in Iraq. And he’s stocking his White House with anything but stalwarts of the left.

Liberals voice concerns about Obama - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20081208/pl_politico/16292;_ylt=ApcGBHytLTXLBbt4C46C8ioazJV4 - broken link)

No concern whatever on my part.

He's the best man I can think of to occupy the Oval Office, and I have been nothing but impressed with him since I pulled the lever on November 4th. I am thoroughly delighted with his picks for his cabinet, and especially with Shenseki for Veterans Affairs.

You may need to update your definition of "liberal". It apparently doesn't mean what you thought it did.

This liberal isn't concerned either.

We most definitely have the best man for the job.

After Obama's stance on the FISA bill, I began to embrace the reality that he is moderate, and that's okay given the state of our crumbling empire. I would like to see more of a liberal agenda, but it's not necessarily what we need right now to restore our nation.

What we need is an intelligent leader who will work well with both parties and all sides of the political spectrum. I am very impressed by how quickly he has put together his new team. It appears that many Republicans are also happy with some of his selections, but of course, you can't please everyone.

I am also impressed with his plans to rebuild infrastructure, and I hope that will lead to more public transportation options in metropolitan areas, as well as creating more jobs.

One thing's for sure, I am glad to see liberals holding him accountable for his actions. We have to remember that Obama himself says that we will disagree with some issues, but he will be honest with us. If he remains honest, we are in for a refreshing change.

The moderate is acting like a moderate? How strange.

I wish he would lean more liberal, too. But he's doing a great job so far. I don't have that much to complain about.

For what it's worth, I'm happy with him--and especially happy with the decisions made so far.

This is all right wingers are left with. Some sort of odd pleasure in the fact that liberals are not 100% happy with Obama....LOL

Pathetic. ....but if that's all you have?
