He is going to be exactly the kind of president many of us expected. He was painted as a far left liberal, a socialist, and a marxist by the other party, but he doing exactly what I expected, and I am pleased. I will admit all of those anti-Obama messages and accusations gave me pause to reflect, but I am so glad he was elected.
Maybe this is nearly the end of the dominionist Religious Right. I dont know if Focus on the Family has yet responded to their invitation from the Obama team to participate in a "National Day of Service for Martin Luther King Day, the day before the inauguration," but I look forward to learning their answer.
Wait a minute. Isn't this the crowd that consistently paints Robertson and his ilk as a big ole scary monster? So, in this instance, you're reading Robertson's words and agreeing with him? Heh. We'll remember this when y'all revert to your "scary monster" rhetoric about the Religious Right.
