Now that the election is over and the discussions continue it is becoming clear to me that Obama is the Magical Messiah conservatives have suggested he is to his followers. At first like most I dismissed their commentary as being that of the fringe. However seeing how Democrats are now reacting it would appear that he is to them a Magical Messiah who has WASHED THEIR HISTORIC SINS AWAY!

No longer are Democrats the war mongering party that started Vietnam. They are now only to be considered the party of international peace and civility.

No Longer are they the party of Jim Crow and racial supression through much of our history! They are now all loving and embracing of mankind in totality.

No longer did they play any role in our current economic quagmire. Their economic involvement doesn't begin until January 20/21.

No longer are they the party with members in the south who burned Black churches in the civil rights era or hosed demonstrators.

What is even more magical is that they are no longer the party that had a significant number of their members vote to support Prop 8 in California on the very day Obama was elected.

By nominating and electing Barack Obama the Democrats have been absolved of all sins and that makes him magical and their Messiah.

Be careful Republicans it would appear that you are downstream and all previous Democratic sins are being washed your way.

dont forget that he is the quasi-muslim messiah that wasn't really born in the us and doesn't own his house.

And that republicans only stand for truth justice and light, just like Rush says.

Enough to promote long boring meaningless posts, a return to the use of the word "Negro", use of the Republican word "Messiah", an assumption no one else in the world knows history, and no memory of anything the republicans/current administration ever did wrong.

What have I forgotten all of my pre election pro Obama anti Palin etc posts? You must not have been around when conservatives were hating me.

I forgot one other sin he is washing away:

Washing away all the Democratic Mayors and school system superintendents who are in charge of our failed urban schools that are wasting dollars and not meeting the challenge of preparing their students for what ever reason. If they were failing cheaply that would be one thing but they WERE failing expensively. Not anymore they are now on the cutting edge of change.

I have another one saying mean things about big time Obama supporters and Bush slammers who now disagree with them about something. No sin there it all washes on those who disagree with them and don't want to continue the culture wars like Obama has requested.

While I normally use the terms Black and African American I am of age to remember when I was born Negro and that was the appropriate term. I have not forgotten my history. When you were born were you called Negro, Colored, Black or African American?

Well now my friend you are one who is familar with my posting history and while you took a leave from the forum you are familiar with much of the forum history. I was at first torn between Obama and what was at one time thought to be the old McCain. It soon became evident this was a new McCain and the attributes of Obama began to shine for me. Their was much divisiveness and negativity towards him. First by the Clinton campaign (DEMOCRATS) and it was nasty racist and divisive. Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, Larry Sinclair, Hussein and he isn't like us were all themes of the Clinton Democratic Camp. Obama ran on a campaign of ending the partisan wars and uniting as a country. I was one of the negative supporters of Obama and prided myself on Operation Swiftbutt. You swift boated Obama and McCain and most often Palin got a kick in the butt back. However the election is over and Obama has called a halt to the cultural wars and is working to unite us. The selection of Rick Warren is a perfect example. Thus as a loyal dedicated Bot I have taken on the mission of operating from the center and attacking those on each extreme who would seek to undercut the message of unity our POTUS elect is calling for. Fringo's of each side are the new enemy and they deserve to be called out especially those who talk the Obama talk but are unwilling to walk the Obama non partisan walk.

Thank you for Obama and thank you for his wisdom in selecting Pastor Rick. It is being well received by the middle of both left and right and is a major step in healing. For those who wish to keep the wounds open I am more then willing to pour salt on theirs. For those who have been here for awhile this should not surprise them.

Democrats are not without sin nor are Republicans. They all got us in this mess and we can only get out of it united without partisan divide.
