....LOL. Carter's POST presidential work in the Middle East is acceptable, but his "successful" Middle East policy as president is what helped Reagan win in a landslide.
And there is not stopping this conflict. It has been going on
forever, and will continue to do so. The French couldn't stop it, the British couldn't stop it, the Soviets couldn't handle it, and the US has also failed.
And while the US did have major success compared to previous excursions by other powers in Afghanistan, Iraq is where we failed. I guess I am one of 'dem crazy neoconz! because I supported liberation of Afghanistan but detested the Iraq invasion.
