I will treasure the historical moment when President Obama was elected.

The most laughful moments were Palin.

The most ugly moments were the lies and smearing during McCain/Palin campaigning.

The bad moments were the falling of the economy.

The good moments were here on the forum.

Over-all this has been an interesting year!

Good-When Barack Obama won!!! YES!!!!

BAD- The economy and taking care of Iraq while we cannot take care of our own country.

UGLY-Sarah Palin and John McCains campaign.

I agree with the goods and bads given above. I'll try to come up with new ones:

Good - people seemed to be more immune to 'swiftboating'

Bad - the media fawning over McCain early on (the adjusted towards more realistic coverage later)

Ugly - the treatment of Rev. Wright and Michelle Obama by the far right
