Can Obama save America from the pit that Bush dropped is into? Not by himself he can't.

Not by himself and not in any brief period of time. Welcome to a Worst-case scenario...

He will give the illusion of saving us by taking half-measures and doing damage control. Then the bottom will fall out later.

I shoulda added a poll. So far 1 'bottom will fall out', 1 'worst case' and 1 'not by himself'.

No, I don't think so. He is inheriting quite a mess. Really, Obama is not a God who can just wave a magic wand to make all of our troubles disappear.

I wish him all the best.

Before he can even begin, we have to hit the bottom of the pit, and it's no where in sight yet.

he'll make it worse by trying to spend our way out of this mess (which is what got us here in the first place). Obama will be a one term president. when a dollar bill becomes more valuable as toilet paper then as money, the revolution will begin.

That is my point. Nothing against him, but he's not the messiah that some people think he is.

I feel sorry for Obama, I wouldn't want to inherit this mess for ANYTHING in the world.
