Yes ... the Republicans are wonderful at building a "house of cards".

Perhaps if they were regulating the financial system like they were supposed to, we wouldn't be in this global economic meltdown ???

By January 2007, when Democrats took over, the damage was already done. All the bad subprime loans were written back in 2004 - 2006, when Congress was asleep at the "financial" switch, and catering to every whim proposed by Bush.

I like how everyone on city-data is a financial expert. You're all full of crap. Stop pretending like you have a clue who is responsible other than everyone in government. Watching videos on youtube doesn't make you an expert.

Yeah ... Things really took a nosedive during the Democratic reign of terror in congress.

It was the dems that required banks to relax lending standards so that low-income folks can share in the American Dream of home ownership despite the fact that they were financially incapable of making the payments.

You have posted and commented on them many a time yourself. This forum is more focused on the election pre and post. You have had your fun with them in the political and other controversy part of the forum.

Yeah.

Brainwashing can have some really nasty side effects.

Halfheimer's is a bear to deal with for all the parties involved.

So do you really mean to say that up until the last two years the war in Iraq was necessary and successful? Then in the last two years it became unnecessary and not successful? Surprises me that you would have that perspective. You are entitled to it but it just surprises me.
