The liberal guys are obsessed with her because she's so much better looking than any woman they could land, and the liberal women are obsessed with her because they're jealous of her. It's kind of a bitter-sweet, love-hate obsession.

And let's not keep carping on this "She keeps herself in the news!" BS. She's a state governor, for crying out loud. Her name is going to appear in print from time to time. If she vetoes a bill that comes across her desk, and it's reported in a paper, the CD liberals don't need to be frothing at the mouth about it - but they will.

Obsessions like this go on for a long, long time. The same people will be saying the same things about her 2-3 years from now.

The media isn't obsessed, America isn't obsessed. Sarah Palin is obsessed with being in the public eye lest everyone forget her. She's really a hoot. I love that she's under the delusion that people care.

Hey Sarah, go teach Levi to change diapers since he's now unemployed ... know why you need to teach him? Because his mom is in the can for drugs!

It's probably because George Bush is on his way out of the Presidency, and they need someone to whom they can transfer their hate. Liberals aren't about a positive message, they have to be anti-(something). Since they can't be Anti-Americans anymore (at least vocally) with their guy in the White House, they transfer it to their traditional target: women. Soon they'll find another black Republican to hate so they can attack African Americans as well. It's very predictable.

Default A New Story Every 13 Days

Lol, she's good looking but not that good looking. She's okay. It's safe to say she is the best-looking woman in politics, but she's nowhere near the best looking woman in, say, Passaic, New Jersey.

news - she's been in the mainstream news since Nov. thanks to, as I recall,
1) Levi's drug mom,
2) this new baby,
3) her calling and emailing newspapers and People magazine to tell them to adjust their facts about her family
4) which led to more news, Levi quitting his job because it requires a HS diploma
and 5) SHE released the press release in which she whines about Caroline Kennedy and reminds us that her problems and mistakes are all the fault of other people. She did, not the MSM, not someone on the left. She released it - actually the Office of the Governor of the State of Alaska released it. Real professional there!

So, five stories in 65 days, that's a story every two weeks. And these arent just "the Governor met with the veterans" type stories, they're National Enquirer type personal stories.

So she's still entertaining.

The right puts up fan sites like TeamSarah - not the left. A right-wing poster put up this thread - not a left-wing poster. Some right wing site's readers voted her Conservative of the Year. It's the right who thinks about her in between these nutty stories - not the left. But those nutty stories come thick and fast, and as long as she doesnt change - which she shows no indication of wanting or being able to do - I think we're in for years of fun Sarah news.

You guys are the ones who are obsessed -
talk about Messiah worship!

Palin is a gift that keeps on giving. Things could change if only she would shut up.

If I recall, right wing talked about Bill Clinton for a long long time.

So, one is a comedy for dems, the other soft porn for republicans (ken starr can fill you in on the juicy details ). Both stories have staying power.

Are you serious? None of the news about her has been governor news.

I used to be mostly a liberal until this last election. The actions of the liberals since the Democratic National Convention have totally turned me off. Some of them sound like 12 year olds in a school playground shouting, "na na na na na na".

GROW UP!
If you watch the news networks today seems like everyone is. Now I wonder why that is? Has she opened her mouth and inserted something again? I mean a foot!

Yup you got it right on. She is the one calling the press conference and doing the interviews to be shown. Can't help it if she screws them up. Can you say Turkey!

Jump in Alaska teen birth rate tops U.S.: Alaska News | adn.com
Alaska saw the nation's biggest increase in teenage pregnancy rate from 2005 to 2006, according to a new federal report looking at U.S. birth rates.

The Alaska birthrate among women ages 15-19 in 2006 was 44.3 per 1,000 teens, up 19 percent from 2005. The next highest growth occurred in Mississippi and Montana, both of which saw a 13 percent increase in 2006. The national average was 41.9 births for every 1,000 teenage girls 15 or older, up 3 percent

Hmmmm why doesn't this surprise us. Wait til this goes viral. She gets elected teens get pregnant. Hmmmmmm but not in her household. This now takes her daughters pregnancy for tabloid to policy.
