I think it's great that Mrs. Robinson will be living with Michelle and Barack. My question is, why not the homeless aunt and the poverty stricken brother too?

I don't know, if you were Michelle and you wanted someone helping you out with your kids, who would you ask? Your mother, who has spent many years helping to raise the kids--or some people none of the family has met, who're vaguely related to a father your husband barely knew?

Well grandma, of course. But, I said I think it's great. That isn't the question.

OK, addressing the idea that anyone possibly related to Obama should be asked to live in the white house: Hey, why not Madonna? I hear she's somehow related to Obama. Also Dick Cheney--he's just dying to have an excuse to stay in the white house, and he's distantly related, too.

You know what, my family's lived in many of the same cities as Obama's family. I'll bet there's some connection somewhere in our family tree. So book the Lincoln bedroom for normie, I'm moving in.

The aunt has not got her immigration papers straight and the brother does not even live here.

Oh, goodness, what could be better for the image than to bring in the homeless and impoverished family members, maybe even higher Palin's Republican stylist as well! Now that would be a photo-op.

Instead the Obama's prefer sanity over inane publicity stunts, go figure.

While that is important, it may more about VALUES than anything. I do not know anything about Obama's relatives but there are relatives I have that I would NEVER allow to even spend a night in my house. Druggies, drunks, criminals and other assorted types that, while I share a last name with, I would not deal with. On the other hand I have a homeless teenager that has lived here for the past year that is not related at all because she is a friend of my daughter and a good kid and good student who was in a bad situation. She also shares the VALUES I share.

Have they been living with them? Seeing them on a daily basis? Are you equating a distant step aunt with a mother? A step brother he rarely sees with a real close brother like Craig. Are you hoping he would house someone illegal in immigration status so you can raise that issue. This is so transparent and the answers so obvious that one has to question the logic of the question.
