He is being realistic, for now.

Conditions have changed a bit since the campaign. Smarter the "Stay the Course" that Mr Bush (and the "The Detroit Lions" Matt Millen) followed to complete failure.

Before the election an article was posted here where his campaign admitted they knew for some time they couldn't do what they were promising, yet of course, they kept up with those promises right up to election day...

Any intelligent adult knows that politicians NEVER can deliver 100% on campaign promises...never have, never will.

Obama is no exception but does show considerably more honesty about it.
