Default Anyone else tired of the Obama hype??

I voted for Obama and was really touched watching the night he was named to be the next president. It will be a night I will remember forever BUT I gotta admit the hype right now is outta control. Can he spend one week in the white house before we say he is the greatest thing ever. I thought the pre hype and media bias before the election was terrible....it keeps getting worse! I hope he does live up to all this hype but I don't think any human being could especially a politician which regardless of his race must sell his soul to be elected.

I suspect it will die down after the inauguration.

The Daily Show and Colbert Report have capitalized on the media obsession with Barack Obama and his family.

I too think it will die out after he is actually president.

I think what is going on is that people are so upset about Bush and are sick of what is going on. They are just so happy to know someone better is going in.

I am wondering that too. How much of this is Obama or just a big sigh of relief that Dubya will be gone!

Because anything or anyone is better than Bush. How do I know people are upset about Bush? Just look at his ratings!

You must be in some sort of fantasy land if you don't see people are tired of Bush and upset about things going on. Higher job loses...cuts...401K's.

Seriously, are you part of that 19 percent or so that approves of Bush?

Bush was a cancer to the united states, his goal was to make his friends alot of money and he was successful , if America had no president and it was all anarchy it would be better then the cancer we faced in this disgraced once upon a time country that the bush family gave us the last 8 years

Moderator cut: this is going a bit too far...

I would also like to know how you can assume he will be better.

Do you have a crystal ball a little bird whispering in your ear?

How do you know who is sick of Bush.

Talking about ratings Congress has the lowest EVER and they are Dem majority the last 2 years!

I am sick of all the stuff about Obama!

I didn't vote for him, as he is the complete polar opposite of everything I stand for. I, for one, will NOT be watching the inauguration!
