Regardless of YOUR personal political leanings, do you think it is right for a city council woman of a large city to wear a shirt with one of the candidates pictures to work?

Here is a photo from last weeks Detroit City Council meeting. Councilwoman Monica Conyers (Congressman John Conyers' disgraceful, ghettofabulous, barfighting wife) is in the middle wearing an Obama t-shirt under a blazer.

That is Martha-clueless,-shoulda-stayed-in-show-business-Reeves to her left

and Barbara-Rose-do-you-like-my-tiara?-Collins to her right.

This photo has NOT been altered. That is how they dress for City Council meetings in the "D" In fact, these are some of the more "conservative" dressers on the council!

I am not making this up! Please do not overlook her "Diva" coffeecup.

Your thoughts?

agreed, she has the right to support and take pride in any candidate she feels like, since when have political figures not been endorsing people?

and they are dressed rather comical, but that doesnt mean jacksquat about their abilities and credentials.

Nothing wrong with a person showing that they have great judgment. Completely appropriate!

She's obviously among the most enlightened. Good to see, frankly.

Its called freedom of speech, she's allowed to wear whatever she wants.
