Really? What hard question did the media ever ask obama? Especially one that wasn't a preplanned (with media supplied answers !) question for him as compared to asking McCain off the cuff questions or the questions asked to Sarah Palin out of the blue? Now do I think the best Republicans were on the ballot? NO.

Palin was a breath of fresh air. Biden had and still has no clue.

JerseyG you mean the same Palin who was basically grovelling at Obama's feet when he was in Alaska and on his way to Canada pushing for that natural gas pipeline?

Sour grapes are still sour and you should be angry with your own party since they did every concievable thing to lose this election. Like many keep saying the GOP is out of ideas and all your party offered was fear mongering, terrorists and garbage like Obama is a Muslim.
Hannity, Ann Coulter,Rove & Rush Limbaugh defines the GOP and America saw through it all and we were just sick to death of the BS.

Actually, McCain won the primary because of two reasons, the press and open primaries. The press highlighted him as their choice of candate just like they did with Obama. McCain loved the attention the press gave him right up until Obama won the nomination and then they turned on McCain. With the Open Primaries, many Democrats who early on thought that Hillary was a shoe in to win the primary, choose instead to vote for the Republican candidate of their choice,...McCain. Some of them wish they'd voted for Hillary instead.

On to the topic. If Obama had an R by his name then they, the press, would have treated him like they did Sarah Palin. They would have sent teams of lawyers and reporters to Chicago, Hawaii, Indonesia, and Kenya to dig up any and all dirt on him and go wall to wall coverage of anything they found hoping something stuck.

I know we seen the press guiding that 6 months before anyone knew who the Republican nominee would be. I'm still wondering when the press will go to kenya and ask about if it's true obama was really born in that hellpit.
You know if there was a question of even the slightest made up crap they would have went on a republican. But obama was their democrat, so they wouldn't even bring it up despite his family in kenya on the airwaves in all of africa saying he was born in kenya. Personally, I hope he was born in Hawaii as the disaster the other if true would create. But if he was born in Kenya, then it needs to be dealt with as the Constitution says!

I feel bad for the sheep that are so gullible as this poor fool. Its insane to think that some people actually take this seriously, and that hes only getting away with it because he is a democrat. Don't you think the previous REPUBLICAN administration would have found out about this during the campaign, and completely destroyed Obama? I mean its the US president, hes got a little bit of power and resources if I'm not mistaken...

Another thread high jacked by the birth issue. It will never end. We need a separate forum to deal with Obama's status as a natural born American. All of the conspiracy theorists could move there and then talk to each other without fear of anyone bothering them with the truth.

Actuly, I feel bad for the poor foolish people like this poster who think obama is going to do them anygood. BTW, Did you actuly look into the various tv and radio stations of kenya and africa to find out if your opinion is correct or did you just decide because it's your guy that the ones claiming his birth needs to be checked out was wrong? If you had actuly taken the effort to read my post, you would have realized that I do not say obuma was born in kenya. But when the news media acted like McCain could not be President because of being born on a US military base in Panama ,was YOU saying McCain shouldn't be running because of his birthplace? Why did the media send crews to panama to investigate McCain's birth but not obama's grandmothers claims he was born in kenya? A little fear of finding out he couldn't be their golden political messiah? Typical looney leftest, didn't read my post with any clear thinking.

Why should questioning the President ever end? The left never quit questioning the last President. See, you guys have fell right into the trap I set and didn't realize it.
You belittle anyone who doesn't agree with your thinking on politics or questions anything againist your guy now living in the whitehouse. It is party politics and that's all politics will ever be.
It isn't about who has the best ideas, (like it should be) as it's a mix between the parties. I like the idea that we use materials made here in our country for all road and infrastructure projects. But why do we have to tripple the cost for enviromental impact studies of the animals in the area? There is a even tie for the repubs and dems! Both have a good idea/position and both have a bad idea/position on just that one subject!

Look George W. Bush was more of a democrat than a conservative republican as President, but because he got there in the republican party,
The hard left/democrat leaning media acted like he was very conservative (which he wasn't!!!). Maybe compared to a far leftest like the President we now have, Bush was conservative, but on the scale of things, he clearly was liberal. Added more layers and agencies of government than anyone before him. Spent more for agencies we don't need such as education, the epa nuts, more on medical agencies than anyone before him when he should have been looking to trim these bloated budgets and found the mass fraud that happens in the medical world. That's what a conservative would have succeded doing, making government smaller and less intrusive to our lives instead of the liberal nonsense we suffered with. But Bush was nothing compared to the socialistic nonsense the new President wants.
