Point to a single insult.

Not that that should be important. The entire premise of this thread reeks of mindless populism and appeal to the majority which is illogical.
What polls and according to who the liberals.

They're not insults. They are facts.

I said the country still had a racism problem. Your response? "If we're so racist, why did 3 million people attend the inauguration?" Your second response: "If you think America is a racist POS cesspool ..." (this after you argued that it is racist, but more racist from the black side). You have yet to correct or apologize either one of those nonsense statements. You are not good at debate.

You can continue being all huffy about how someone on the internet was rude to you. Or you can present a decent argument for your case. It's your choice, but so far it's not looking good for you.

Abortion and Universal healthcare. And according to pollsters.

Typical liberal. Insult someone and say "they're facts not insults", yeah right.

I never said that it was racist from the black side. I said that more people voted for him because he was black than against him because he was black. I never said that only blacks voted for him because he was black, you drew that inference and added the "racism" term to that.

I gave you hard data that proved my statements. You in turn threw it out because it didn't agree with your views. All you have provided is your 10-15% opinion, and irrelevant facts that have nothing to do with the election itself.

The POS cesspool comment was in response to your comments. It was quite clear that you cannot even listen to anything that disagrees with your opinion, so I gave up the debate as hopeless at that point. Hence, I said....you are entitled to your opinion.

But was that enough for you? No. You came out with another post that had no purpose other than to insult me.

My statements need no correction, they are backed by polling evidence. Unlike yours, which is an opinion.

I am not going to apologize to you because my opinions are different than yours.

You are correct. I am not good at debate with those who cannot be debated with, since they know everything

Had you focused on the issue itself, we could have had a civil debate. But you chose to launch insults on my character and attack anything I said.

Farewell.

Here is Obama's base

- radical liberals
- the urban liberal elite
- Hollywood liberals
- radical leftists and hippies
- socialists
- black nationalists and black racists bent on racial identity politics
- illegal immigrants and anchor babies (the children of illegals)

With the exception of Jews, none of the other elements of Obama's base can be considered part of mainstream America. Compare this with the Republican base and you'll see which party is out of touch with the real America.
I think you are way off. I voted for Obama, and so did my independent husband. I've put in bold the groups I'd consider us a part of.

But it was fashionable to be for Obama. One of my sisters (who claims to be "born again" Christian) voted for Obama. She said she just couldn't stand McCain. But she had no idea what the issues were/are. I tried to tell her, but she just got mad at me. Fine Christian she is. It's my opinion that NO Christian should vote for ANY Democrat, because of what that Party stands for.
The party stands for acceptance of people who are different than you. Republicans only support the white, rich, straight, and ignore the rest of the country. You are so ignorant!

And your post would make you the same.

I lean conservative but wasn't excited about McCain then throw in Palin and come on that ticket isn't going to inspire anyone but the hardcore base. The GOP needs some one to not only get their base going but to also bring those middle of the roads people back to our side.
