People vote, acreage doesn't.

Ken

PS - The ENTIRE STATE of Oklahoma (for example) has less than half the population of NYC.
Thanks for showing how urban regions dictate to the rest of the nation...

Makes me wonder how long before the rest of the nation decides enough is enough.

^^It's not NYC's fault that it's bigger than the entire state of Oklahoma. Hell, the Oklahoma City's metro is larger than the State of Rhode Island.

9.5 million out of 300 million? So now every American can vote? And the voting for this election was more like 69.5 million to 59.9 million (so around a 9.5 to 9.6 million voter difference in Obama's favor).

The MAJORITY decide.
That's the nature of Democracy.
If you don't like Democracy, well...

Less than 10 million people...weird considering how people keep going on about Obamas popularity.

I look at that map and see how much of the country didn't fall for the hype.

Get over it. He was elected by the majority of the voters, which is more than you can say for W.

How much of the country land wise, but not population wise. Therefore, more people agreed with Obama. I highly doubt cows and trees vote. Hell, in some of the counties, the chickens out in middle America, pigs outnumber people.

Let it go! He believes a rural vote is more important than an urban vote!

Like the small states aren't already over-weighted in the Senate and therefore also in the Electoral College...
