So because idiot Republicans blew money, it makes it OK for Obama to do the same? By that train of thought, Obama is the same pond scum as the Republicans. Obama promised "change", not 4 more years of Republican rule.
but the thing is, republicans dont make an issue out of it unless its opposition, just like last weeks bombing on pakistan, i have never heard republican supporters, politicians speak out against the last admin, only until they were sure they were out of jobs due to the incoming admin, its when various republicans started coming out the closet against his decisions, very suspect!

OBAMA IS A MODERATE DEMOCRAT i believe....i dont think the white house if mccain was in would be any different from either obama or bush because later on in his campaign he also went on change but put real in front of it, and also the america first nonsense which is not really what it means
Obama's 150 Million spent on himself was a big waste of money to those poor, out of work, Southside Chicago people he "supposedly" helped. Tell the child going to bed hungry tonight that it took 150 Million for Washington momentum . Sad. She'll still ask for food.
Obama's 150 Million was FAR from change. It was a selfish expenditure in self glorification. No real change at all. Same B.S. as usual.
You just have your mind made up and the facts aren't going to change it, right? I am so sick of people wanting other people to do their homework. If you don't know something, look it up! I've seen tons of media coverage on who did what, paid for what, and did what to whom at the inauguration. Usually you find that kind of stuff either in the entertainment news or the society pages, often in the Sunday edition.

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing. This poster wants to continue to rant and therefore will glaze over the actual facts (particularly the smaller amount spent proportionate to the amount of attendees, as well as 2008 costs). It doesn't matter what facts are given. He or she will continue with his or her own fake outrage.
Well first, to starving and unemployed Americans, 150 Million would buy a heck of a lot of food.
The 18 Billion bonuses on Wall Street were paid by companies. We do live in a society of capitalism.
Obama's 150 Million for his inaugural was public money....our tax dollars. Shameful.
Chances are, it is doing that right now. Nothing will stimulate economy than passing hands, and there were 1.5-2 million people contributing to that effect.
Unlike $500 million of tax dollars that you probably have no idea about, at this very moment, used to run US government sponsored TV channel in the middle east. Now you may send Bush a thank you card for that.
But you see....there is a little word called "change". Obama promised change. Where is the change? Spending even more than Bush makes Obama look even worse than Bush. In the middle of a major recession and Obama spends 150 million of our dollars on an inauguration. That is the same old Washington B.S. It isn't change. It is shameful. Obama is shameful.
The more things CHANGE, the more they stay the SAME!!!

Those wall street bonuses were not our money directly, but because the companies had to be bailed out, they were our taxpayer money. Obama should be outraged.
