Default Daschle just withdrew

Game over. Now let's see who Obama selects. Ayers is probably available.

That makes two in a relatively short amount of time. Killefer has also withdrawn over tax/ethics issues. Nice picks, Obama - Mr. Hope and Change.

Daschle knows that the deeper they probe, the more slime they're going to find on him.

Good choice, on his part, to withdraw. I can only hope there's a federal investigation opened up on this guy.

Why couldn't Geithner have enough dignity to do the same?

It will be brushed under the rug like all the other "investigations". Think of Bill Richardson, how's that investigation going? How about ACORN? How's that investigation going? All the "hiccups" as they like to call them, are always hidden.

The only thing Dignity and Daschle have in common is a D.

He should have done the same. But I think this latest one has more crap hiding. We already know it was not just the car, it was also the 83,000 in wages he "forgot" to claim. Then there were the "donations" that he claimed and were not legit, then there was the Social Security he didn't pay for his driver. OK now let's move on to the fact that he worked for a big lobbyist company.....Hmmmm? what else could he be hiding???
