I would imagine security issues such as the best way to transport the President are handled by the Secret Service and the military, not decided by his personal choice.

You don't drive the president for that amount of time down interstate 95. Are you suggesting helicopter for the trip? How many helicopters would it take to transport all who would have needed to go? Have you ever driven from DC to Williamsburg? Not the easiest 100 miles and part of it is a nightmare. Would it have been during rush hour? DC rush hour traffic and 95 traffic. Yup right hmmm Texas did you say?

No actually for trips like that they have a choice......He had a choice

Try 152 miles or so and over 2 1/2 hours each way. Hmmmmmmm and you think that is wise and secure. Ok.
