I will blame the democrats led by Pelosi. Mostly I will blame Pelosi as she stood there and so bravely stated that the democrats wrote the bill and they won the election. The republorats were not allowed near the room when it was first drafted. The rebublicans voting for it are the usual traitors and have no spine. I hope Michael Steele will give them some new blood and a spine. I hope the bay area liberal idiots come out of their coma and finally vote Nancy into retirement.

I also blame Bush along with Obama because he too was quite the big spender.

I'd like to see one democrat explain how this trillion in new debt will ever be repaid, who will repay it? And if throwing a trillion more debt at the problem is such a good solution, then why not throw $50 trillion at it?

So you liberals really do believe that more massive debt is the cure-all for all the problems?

Absolutely.

Eventually we will be so far in debt to the rest of the World that they will bail us out because we're too big to fail, and everyone will live happily ever after.

I place most of the blame on Bush & the GOP. Need I remind you all that they were in charge of every branch of our Government for six of Bush's eight years in office...They shoulder the most because they dug this hole and did nothing to attempt to address it until it was too late...I do not blame much on Obama -- He is taking the issue head on and trying to fix it...It's amazing to me how when Bush asked for 700 Billion, the GOP did not put up any resistance -- they wrote him a blank check w/o condition...Now it's a new Pres. and that new Pres. happens to be Democrat all of sudden the GOP decided to grow some balls & challenge him every step of the way in the name of protecting taxpayer dollars....That smokescreen is so full of B.S. all these clowns on Capitol Hill should be ashamed of themselves...

I'd blame the people who created the stimulus, the Democrats, and the president that signed it into law. Who else could be blamed for this?

The people and actions that created the need for it. The cancer surgeon performing on the the person who has been smoking for 40 years is the one trying to take corrective action. This is remember corrective action for a preexisting condition.

Not to those who believe in prayers as the cure all... the invisible hand.
