For who ever wondered why all these rich Hollywood liberals are behind Obama and against Bush....inthis stimulus bill there is a pork part of 274 million for Hollywood...is that creating jobs or just giving back for helping Obama getting elected into the White House....

ribht... that's the reason. never mind that we all voted last November, and the stimulus bill just came out now, 3 months later. Never mind that Hollywood has always leaned to the left. please provide a link to the so called pork.

It is part of the stimulus bill so maybe some where you can google the stimulus package and it is part of it as reported by the media!

Maybe you call it steak...the rest of the media and me are calling this pork...it won't create more jobs...Hollywood will use the same actors, so where is it creating any jobs....?

It won't create any new jobs, but the Hollywood folks will be able to act like they're pleased. And isn't that what they do? Act? Remember -- these are people who make their living pretending to be someone else.

At least the greedy recipients of GOP handouts admit that they are in it for the money. The Hollywood "progressives", on the other hand, will take the money, all right, don't worry about that for a moment -- but then want you to believe that are doing it all for, uh, noble causes.

Hollywood insists on describing what it does as "art", in the same way that one might describe what prostitutes do as "love."

So funny...but since I'm not a socialist and I don't think they should get less but you are right under the circumstances they have to held to the same standards..or not Mr. Obama?

maybe better don't give the money....but at least we know why Streisand, Spielberg, Oprah, etc...were giving so much money...and yes Oprah is part of it since she has production companies and money in Hollywood...

Among conservatives there is an infatuation with Hollywood, as if the movie industry runs the nation. You may criticize it but you'll surely run to see the latest the movie-mill produces.
I am not a conservative, but I have little interest in Hollywood movies because they suck. I prefer foreign films.
