You're right. Those people who work hard will be forced to pay for the free health care of those who don't.

It's all about "From those according to their abilities, to those according to their needs". A hard working person will be denied anything that someone else doesn't have. Health care of course will be totally free to some, but very expensive for others.

As the government takes over, nationalizes everything, I think we can expect productivity to fall dramatically. There will be no profit motive that inspires people to work long hours and work hard. We will all be given the same whether we work hard, work little or not at all. So why work? It will get you nothing that laying around watching television or playing video games all day gets you.

In fact, it's looking like not working too hard or spending recklessly will actually get you much more. It's the taxpayers, those living in affordable homes that are going to get slammed hard.

The UHC Obama is talking about will likely be in the form of requiring employers of a certain size to pay for health ins. for their employees.

Employers won't pay anything more without passing the loss onto the employees. Whether that be hiring less people, paying lower wages, etc. There's no free lunch, we may think their is such a thing since we just print money but in the end someone pays.

We have universal healhcare already. Any illegal can walk into any emerency room here in the US and get free Healthcare. They won't even have to go on a list. We will have to go on a list if this crappy plan is passed.

I agree that costs will be passed on somehow, but maybe that's OK. Why should some get it through their employers and not all?

Your concerns about "lists" are unfounded.
