One month in, I think its obvious to every cogent American that the election of this guy was a disastrous mistake. In this short amount of time, Obama and his Democrat accomplices in Congress have passed the largest most destructive socialist spending bill in American history, with more huge spending bills promised to follow.

This disaster ascended to the presidency only because of a startling alignment of events. First, two fine conservatives, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, both of whose character and achievements dwarf the incompetent manchild, split the conservative vote and knocked each other out of the primaries. The one left standing, John McCain, was supported by only a minority of Republican voters because of his "moderate" positions. So the GOP offered a damaged candidate who, as such, was still far more experienced and competent than Obama. The deciding blow was the mainstream media's decision to allow Obama to go fully uninvestigated for his radical associations and lack of achievements of any kind. Rather, the media targeted the vice presidential candidate who was actually far more qualified for the presidency than Obama, even though she was running for the second job.

We are now in the fourth month of the Obama Economic Depression which began on Election Day. The stock market, as we know, is a barometer of its view of the future. And when Obama was elected, the DOW revealed its feelings by tumbling 300 points. Today, the DOW is at it's lowest point in years.

This socialist marionette is disregarding all the past proven remedies to economic downturns (cutting of taxes for job creators, cutting of government spending), methods which have worked 3 out of 3 times the past 30 years in bringing a faltering economy back. Instead, Obama has chosen the big-government-punish-the-achievers tack which not only failed in the 1930s by creating and prolonging the Great Depression, but which has failed EVERY TIME in the history of the world it has been tried.

Why would someone ignore what has worked and implemented what has always failed? The answer can only be he has NO interest in helping the economy. The intention of this boondoggle bill is nothing other than reward his political cronies, buying votes of the non contributors, and attempting to cement power for the Democrats for years to come.

Obama needs to resign or be impeached. NOW. Our country has realized we made a terrible mistake. As painful as it would be, it's time to undo this disastrous blunder. This man has not only proven he is more than happy to advance his party and career at the expense of the country's welfare. The only other explanation is that he is grossly ignorant of economics and completely incompetent in seeking sound advice. If this is the case, he should just quietly bow out, and admit he's not nearly up to the job. Then American can move on.

And I would suggest, since the Democrats have completely shared in this malfeasance, a REDO of the fall election rather than allow the office to fall for the vice president. Let the Republicans recast their nominee to run against Biden or Hillary or whoever. I don't care how much a redo would cost; it would be far cheaper than the path we are currently taking. I think Americans would happily gobble up an unprecedented opportunity to undo their grave mistake. Again, I think I speak for most Americans when I say we'd love to let Sarah Palin or Mitt Romney do what they've proven they can do: manage and improve an economy.

Hysterical !! Funniest thread I have read today. Saying up is down and down is up doesn't make it so.

Obama cares about the American people. Bush didn't, its that simple. Bush had his head stuck up Iraq's bum for how many years was it?? Those that don't care for Obama haven't realized yet he is going to help the US. Pure and Simple
Rather then drag us down the drain like Bush did.

LOL>. what a joke this is!!! WHATEVER ...

We're going to get this country back on track

And um... if I were you I'd revisit the Great Depression.. one of the problems was the government DIDN'T act and finally when FDR came into office he started acting and getting things going again.

Had BUsh stemmed the foreclosure crisis 8 months ago by action vs. inaction we might not be in as deep as we are....

Wanted to not loose control of the country on the ticket.. then perhaps you shouldn't have (you meaning the Republicans) left the country in the mod cut

His approval rating was reported on TV today at 60% and dropping fast. Rock stars usually drop really fast when they start their downward slide.

Given that you ignore the fact that Obama's methods have never worked in human history, and believe in them anyway, I have a job opportunity for you and other Obama supporters that is just as plausible.

CNN reports today that Obama's positives are at 67%, down from the mid-70's at the beginning of the month. Still pretty good numbers.

Poll: Obama rating slips, but still high - CNN.com

A "do over" election? Yeah, sure. We'll set it up for next month, OK?
