As we're seeing now, one party in Congress can make something happen when they want to do so, and the Democrats have had majorities in Congress during the Nixon, most of the Reagan, and GHW Bush administrations.
There's a chart which shows a direct correlation to which party has controlled the Congressional Houses and which was the President at the time - and controlled the Budget. I'll have to find it. Very eye opening when one considers which party has done the most damage in terms of running up the deficit, balancing the budget, and showing fiscal discipline.

Having watched Obama on at least six occasions live and in person sans teleprompter, I can assure you that you haven't a clue as to what you are talking about.
Hard to argue with that considering it's well known by those paying attention - the President has written many of his own speeches!!

~Folks are stunned when they see someone who thinks before he speaks!

We're waiting for you to clue us in and show us how he has increased the deficit to 40Trillion.

When you post the proof of your claim please be aware we have the deficit number from the prior President's last day in office.

That is a legacy worth putting up with all of the stupid remarks from people like you.
Don't forget single handedly increasing the ranks of the opposition.....

Lol...Are you aware the numbers you're quoting are missing tons of data that the prior administration decided shouldn't be included in the deficit numbers (http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2006/outlook.html - broken link)? Does this make sense to you? Please toss in the Wars and a few other left out figures and give us the Real number....

450....lol

Must be very frustrating to have to deal with it every day - but you have no one to blame but yourself for being so frustrated...

To make matters worse, no one is really taking you seriously... so why not give yourself a break???

Cross over from 'The Dark Side'... May the force be with you... (NOT!)
Interesting theory. Even more interesting, is how those of you who are still mid climax in your Orgasmic heightened state, want to spend time trashing people like Jindal and Palin. One would think that with the Dawning of the new age, you all wouldnt give a second thought to the likes of Jindal or Palin, with all the hope and change going on all around you, you couldnt have possibly noticed that all that Magic was just smoke and mirrors yet! Or.....?

Look into Jindal's education.
He's much better educated than president Obama. And smarter by every measurement. Check for yourself. You own the political world now. You can afford to relax a little.
