Do you think that Jindal background will hinder him from being the President?

But, with that being said, I still would have voted Obama or Clinton because he/she represents more of my beliefs.

That is very interesting. Listen up GOP!!!

Too early to tell. And I'm still trying to educate myself on all the different options. But if we had the election today....probably Romey/Jindal. I would also like Romney/Palin but she has really been drug through the mud and that has hurt her. But, who knows, maybe in a few years...

Other Republicans I'm watching are: Thune, Hensarling, Bachmann - they've been making some really good points regarding the stimulus/fiscal responsibility.

I like Huckabee, too. Michael Steele may be a bit too moderate. I never ruled moderates out until that stunt pulled by the Maine women and Spector. We'll see.

I can't wait for the next election to be held, though!

I'll never understand why Romney didn't get the nomination.

Strange isn't it. Almost eveyone I knew and talk to was for him or Huckabee. My state was heavily Romney, but of course by the time we voted it was over. Huckabee and Romney split that vote and McCain was elected by default. I am surprised he got as many votes against Obama as he did. We would have definitely won with a better candidate.

It's because we had too many damn primary elections. If we had regional primaries instead of state primaries, I'm almost certain McCain would've lost the nomination.

With that being said, I would like to see a Romney/Huckabee ticket. I don't know much about Jindal so I can't comment on him.

Huckabee can't stand Romney or that might work. Of course Reagan and Bush were not buddies either and they got over it for the sake of the party.
