The measure would give Washington, D.C., full political representation in the House, (but not the Senate) setting up a legal challenge likely to wind up in the U.S. Supreme Court. Opponents say the U.S. Constitution allows for representation for states only, not cities or districts. President Obama will sign after differences are resolved between House and Senate.

Talk about trashing the constitution.

There is no way they can justify or hope this will withstand the coming challenge.
