HUH? Where did that come from? I said nothing about anyone being facist.
What I said was that so-called progressive taxation is unfair and approaches being socialist, although not quite.
The progressive taxation system is actually better for the economy. It is based on actual economics research, not political philosophy. Did you know that? Ever heard of the term "velocity of money" as used in economics?

Well, Park, consider that you're talking to some people who think a functioning government in and of itself is socialism. It just amazes me how so many people don't make the basic connection that basic services (schools, roads, fire, police) cost money.

You are talking about the ultimate entitlement class. They don't want to pay taxes but the want all the benefits of living in a complex developed country. The ultimate welfare queens.

That's funny considering (before Obama of course) the biggest welfare program of all went mostly to the north of who didn't like FDR policy. Bribes in today's times. I bet there is still some sort of question though of how the north got to be the way it was...

I'm sure there is an argument buried in that sentence, but I'm not a metaphorical miner so it will just have to stay buried until someone can come along and drop in a couple of proper nouns so that we can mine what exactly you are trying to talk about.
