"Minutes later, Obama spelled out what he proposes this to mean for 98 percent of Americans: 'You will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime. In fact, the recovery plan provides a tax cut . . . and these checks are on the way.'

So much for summoning the country to sacrifice. Obama has been no more willing to ask average Americans to pitch in, even once the recession is over, than Bush."

As usual no logic to the thread.

Seriously think before posting threads that make no sense.

Expand your perspective to include the possibility that Bush's obtuse leadership style may also characterize his successor's. That you fail to see the logic here is less a problem with the link than with your ability to comprehend the author's point.

Sorry yele, there's no logic in the source material.

Try again. Next time put emphasis on the "try" part.

Obama is a puppet in the style of Bush. Just as Bush was controlled and had limited decision making input, so is Obama. Except Bush wasn't quite as dogged by personal indiscretions, questionable background history and didn't need an army trying to cover them up. Bush = Obama. Truth = Logic.

How dare you compare Obama to GWB....Because of one our economy and way of life are on life support meanwhile the other is trying to rescue it....

time to wake up and smell the coffee! obama is a continuation of bush bad policies. he is a goldman sachs puppet who is pumping huge amounts to goldman sachs using taxpayer funds. take some time to do some research on the goldman sachs obama connections and see for yourself. paulson was a goldman sachs shill as is geithner, both selected from the goldman sachs / wall street elite.
look at obama's mortgage rewrite policy. 30% of last month’s loans to homeowners that was shoved into motion by the government are already behind! They are defaulting IMMEDIATELY. Namely, the anxious bankers, seeking fees and future value, handed one third of these mortgages to utter deadbeats who then passed the money to someone else and then went bankrupt! This is criminal and the bankers who gave the loans and the borrowers should all be put in prison.
there are a lot of madoff's out there and still nobody is going to jail. madoff isn't even in jail yet! why is he even getting a plea bargain?
by the way, wasn't obama part of the same senate making the same policies that everybody says he inherited? it is insane to deny that obama is part of the problem at this point. look at all the tax cheats that he has on his own staff. these are the rich people who are too big to pay their taxes, yet obama pretends that these are the people he will be getting the money from! he appoints them to high offices instead!
