I don't know about the Dakotas. My impression of those states is that they are conservative, not stupid.

Obama would not win Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Indiana, Arizona, Ga, NC or Pa.

I don't think he could carry NE, NM, Mn, Wi, or even NJ either.

Several other states would be close but with the dems and Obama causing a second recession in 4 years I can see many smaller former lib states going GOP.

The dream is over no matter who he runs against.

After the last couple of days seeing how the left has become insane over the tax issue I cannot see him winning in several coastal liberal states either.

I do not think Palin will be the nominee so you can now sleep easy tonight instead of losing sleep and worrying.

Palin probably wins Georgia, and Nebraska. Obama might take an EV from Nebraska. Nebraska is one of two states that splits the EV's per district (2 EV's for winning the state and an EV for each district, Maine is the other), and depending on what happens with redistricting he could win NE-2 (the Omaha based district he won last time). Montana and Indiana would be up in the air. I do agree on the rest.

You never know about Colorado. There's no great support for either one of them out here right now.

The way Obama's numbers are headed, Palin may be the only Republican he can beat in 2012....

Don't count on Co, NM or AZ as blue states. NV is another, as well as Montana, MO and some of the states around Il and In. I think you are dreaming. Again, it is way to early to tell, but I think you are way off base. Fl and VA are two others that are certainly very likely to go RED. I think we could debate this from now until the end of next year or into 2012 and not agree.

Against Palin, she would be so lucky to any state.

Depends on the candidates. Could some of those states you mentioned for red in 2012? Yes, but the question was Palin.
