Yes, but he promised change.

Oh wait...I guess the change he meant is the change in our pockets after we're broke.

Why should you work hard, follow the rules and be an honorable person when the Obama/Democrat Congress rewards those who don't play by the rules?
Absolutely. And another thing that they may not know is that the increase (what is it, $13/week?) They may see in their paycheck, they will have to pay taxes on next year. Better increase your withholding. A lady called the local talk show and said that her accountant advised her of that. The tax tables haven't changed (i.e. same tax rate).

What they give with one had, they will take with the other.

While I agree with you under the present circumstances only, had the Democrats not messed everything up with their mishandling of Fannie Mae and the resulting mortgage scandal/crisis because of the provisions of the CRA, stocks should not have gone in the tank. This is a direct result of DEMOCRAT poicies, not Republican. They own this lock stock and barrel.

Republicans warned that regulation and oversight was needed. But top Democrats were raking in the dough, and they said there was no problem.

The DOW had dropped before Obama came into office but it has really started to tank now that Obama's policies have started to be laid out.

Every time Obama opens his mouth, we lose money. Watch, there is a pattern.

Your post has nothing to do with the original post, but I can't resist. What difference does it make? Bush was a C student and so was John Kerry. Bother were presidential candidates. I've never cared about Obama's grades. It's obvious by his speech and his ability to answer questions extempraneously, not sticking strictly to talking points, he's an extremely educated and literate person. I know people in Mensa that can't get jobs. I'm pretty sure Obama was an above average student because he had neither the money or the family connections to get ahead. Kerry and bush were fortunate in that area. Middle and lower class are the ones that need the grades.

I guess it's just easier to blame Bush for everything than to face facts, huh?

But the fact is, Bush didn't create the Katrina disaster, which could have been lessened if the money given to LA to upgrade the levies had been spent for that purpose, instead of being sqandered on other things by the States Democrat leadership.

And Bush didn't create the CRA (Jimmy Carter era) which ultimately led to the financial disaster, though Bush and the Republicans warned that there was a high risk of a financial disaster (in 2003, at least), but the Democrats weren't listening (Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, et al).

Fraudulent appointments? We are seeing those in the Obama administration. Which ones are you talking about?

Bush "outed" no CIA agents. That whole case was a fraud. Plain's husband used to brag about his "CIA wife" at parties. Everyone knew she had been an agent. No one in the Bush administration "outed" her. And besides, she hadn't been active in over 5 years. So it didn't matter. These facts were well know, which is why that whole case was a political fraud.

Easy to throw that stuff out. Harder to back it up, right? You get an "F" on this one. Nice try. We all already know the facts on those issues, and you're on the losing side.
Do you have any evidence of that?
