Well the newspapers aren't doing too well. I would say instead that television is for liberals and talk radio is for conservatives.

Conservatives tend to have jobs and they can work and listen to the radio while television works better for liberals who can devote their time and attention to watching it.

It boils down to humans trying to project an ability to be without bias. It's not physically possible, unless you grew up in a white room with 100% equal distribution of different sides of the argument. Eve then most humans form their own opinions and then reflect.

I have a feeling we could google to death proving bias in the media. What would be easier is how many of each side are prevalent in the market.

Obviously they dont - see the number of fear/rage threads in this forum that sprang directly from right wing media rants. Nothing researched, no "other side" cross-checked.

Or better yet, some people like to be spoon fed garbage by the news since they can't think for themselves.

Thank God for talk radio.
There's a term for people that get all (or most) of their "news" from talk radio, or FoxNews for that matter. SERIOUSLY MISINFORMED.

Notice, not "uninformed", MISINFORMED.

Here's an experiment for you talk radio fanboys. Run a google search on the words Limbaugh (or O'Reilly, or Hannity, or Beck, or Coulter) and lies. Read some of the posts that list the "stories" that these hosts spin on the air alongside what is actually in many of the studies that they cite as their sources. In many cases said studies do NOT EXIST. In others they say the opposite of what was stated on air.

I'm pretty sure you won't do this, but I can only point the way, I can't drag you to the truth. Besides as people who follow these guys blindly the worse it will be for the Rs.

I always wondered where talk radio hosts base their studies on? Micheal Medvet (sp.) is one.

John....we're not animals! We can try as rational humans to be objective and fair......Try it sometimes...You will find much of your right wing ideology is built on a house of cards..

You think I'm liberal????? I'm a US Army Veteran...I'm against illegal immigration....I'm against the knee jerk liberals finding "racism" under every rock and crany...I hunt deer and dove and quail and feral pigs! I don't blame the "white man" for the black man's plight.

Well this may come as a shock to you but the internet is killing your party and ideology.

In a FREE market (like the internet) the right wing argument doesnt stand a chance.....Advertiser's dont matter....Offending your boss doesn't' matter...It's naturally LIBERAL... And that will be the end of the right wing as you know it..

Really sheena, before you post DIRECT QUOTES from the smear machine that is Stanley Kurtz, you might want to at least READ THEM. You posted something that was written SIX WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION as if it was new news.

Kurtz's wild fantasies have pretty much been competely DEBUNKED by anyone who takes a minute of two to do any research. He's like the third leg of the Limbaugh/Drudge stool. The only way you could have looked more ridiculous would be to post something from Michell Malkin.

Next.

"Stool" is such an appropriate choice of words here...
