Yes, that says 51 percent of Democrats and 34 percent of Independents didn't want President Bush to succeed...even though our nation was at war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A duplicate topic deserves a duplicate response.

The people polled are not party leaders.

The people were polled - they were asked about a president several years into his administration with well documented failed policies.

They are not party leaders attempting to crush an administration as it starts.

How in the world can someone make this comparison with a straight face.

Oh nevermind it's from Fox and rightwing extremists are pushing irrational and illogical talking points.

IT was private citizens that voice their opinion in the poll!

Rush a private citizen voices his opinion in daily just like what most Americans would love to do!

Have you listyen to Rush?

He shapes his own ideas then speaks them.

Like I said I think it is telling that people on this board and others only care if they are prominent. I mean who really cares if it run of the mill hard working democrats. As long as they have no voice who cares what the believe right?

If the 06 midterms weren't a referendum on the Bush policies then the 08 republican separation was. You're unsuccessfully trying to equate apples to oranges here. In 06 Bush had already spent 6 years unraveling his agenda. As of today Obama has spent 50 days trying to unveil his while dealing with a mess that no president has had in a very long time. This comparison lacks any intellectual honesty or analytical thought as demonstrated by the last two elections.

Don't know why they waited until 2006 to take that poll, he ran and won that failure race for years.
